Evening Primrose Oil is an excellent source of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA)(Omega 6), Linoleic Acid (Omega 6) and Oleic Acid (Omega 9). These are essential fatty acids that are vital to maintaining the structure of human cells. They are converted in the body to prostaglandins, hormones necessary for many bodily functions.
